Dream Job (If you could be anything in the world, what would you be?): Run an expansive web site that’s a larger version of The Average Girl’s Guide where I could connect – and hopefully inspire, encourage, entertain and bring smiles – to as many women as possible.

What special/unique items do you keep on your desk? Why?
A collage from a photo shoot when our daughter turned one holds special meaning as do Murano glass flowers my husband brought back from Venice when we were dating nearly a decade ago. I adore using a Tory Burch receipt holder to organize all of my receipts and a little metal business card holder I picked up in a boutique in St. Petersburg, Fla. has served me well for nearly 10 years.
What things on your desktop make you Work Happy?
Anything that keeps me organized (I am the master of to-do lists!), photos of my family and little conveniences like my Maybelline Baby Lips (ob-sessed!), Trident tropical twist gum and, at the moment, Essie nail polish I received this week via Birchbox.
What is your favorite Poppin item on your desk and why?
It’s a tie between the lime green ruler – I’m addicted to the shade and the bold numbers – and Poppin’s ultra-streamlined, white tape dispenser.
