Lauren’s Style:
How would you describe your personal fashion style in one line?
Eclectic, feminine but not too sweet, occasionally disheveled in an endearing way (so I like to think).
How is your style reflected on your desk?
My desk is usually pretty cluttered, but I like to surround myself with things I love. I have a few clay animals from a friend’s very talented younger sister (Isabelle Bui, age 10), a dinosaur (because why not), some of my favorite sketches from Nicole, and lots of color.
Who are your favorite designers? Why?
I love Celine – Phoebe Philo’s designs are subtle & sophisticated, for the woman I want to be when I grow up. And of course, I love Nicole Miller – she is so talented, and truly inspiring to work with every day.
What’s your “best kept secret” for surviving Fashion Week?
My friends – I have a stellar group of girlfriends that keep me sane. I force myself to make time for drinks & get-togethers.

What special/unique items on your desktop make you “Work Happy”?
I love my corkboards – changing the fabric is so easy, and an instant desk makeover! I love tacking up my favorite photos.
