The High Low Project
Last Wednesday (01.25.2012) morning Sabrina Soto (and her awesome crew) stopped by Poppin to shoot a segment for her new HGTV show “The High Low Project“. (FYI: Sabrina was lovely, down-to-earth and absolutely crazy about Poppin!). “The High Low Project” is a new HGTV show, which debuts in the Spring and features Sabrina surprising lucky homeowners with their dream room. But it gets better: Sabrina creates a fabulous room with a fantasy-sized budget and then replicates it using affordable pieces within the homeowner (and most of us viewers) actual budget.
For an episode dealing with a woman’s home office, Sabrina and the HGTV team chose to use Poppin products for the affordable but equally (if not more) fabulous version of the room. In the spot that takes place in our office, Sabrina meets with Poppin’s “Cube Couture Connoisseur” (aka Sales Executive) Chris Campbell, who shows her around our office/showroom and introduces her to the Poppin product line.
Since the show won’t air until the Spring (date TBD!), I snuck some pictures and a little home video footage to give you a good preview. Take a look…
Behind-the-Scenes
The longest part of the shoot was setting up the product before Sabrina and the team arrived! I was rearranging tape dispensers all morning (no joke). The producers let us know in advance that Sabrina would mostly be filming in our conference room and at a sample desk we set up before the show (that we set really do set up for any potential customer’s who visit the showroom). Here’s how everything turned out:

Like I said above, Sabrina was an absolute pleasure to have in the office! On her way out she let us know that if she ever lost her gig with HGTV she’d be the first in line to join the Poppin team. Here are some shots of she and Chris…
